Kate trained and qualified at Middlesex University in Performing Arts, gaining her Teachers qualification at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Kate is a qualified LAMDA teacher atBerkhamsted School and head of drama at Haresfoot School.
She has been teaching now for 25 years and has entered over 100 teenage children for the LAMDA examinations. At the beginning of her career Kate trod the boards in Fringe Theatre , performing in plays such as 'My mother said I never should' by Charlotte Keatley.
She has also been director of skills presentation company KAM Drama Based Training, working with companies such as London Fire Brigade, Kraft Jacob Suchard, BBC and Unison.
Kate has directed many productions with Berkhamsted Youth Theatre and been involved with the annual Pepper charity concerts held at Berkhamsted School.
Last year her workshops entered the Watford Festival for the first time, and proudly won 2nd prize.
Kates drama workshops in Tring, Pitstone and Ivinghoe have been running for over ten years now.
Kate is a local lass and has lived and grown up in Berkhamsted and Tring. She is now living with her husband and two teenage children in the village of Long Marston.
Emma has LAMDA qualifications in acting and has used her talents in television & stage appearances for over 20 years from local theatres to the Hackney Empire. She previously worked with Time to Shine theatre school and is involved with other local productions both on and off stage for theatre groups and schools.
Emma's particular teaching passion is characterisation, ensuring her students' portrayals are realistic, believable and engaging. She will continue to assist those who wish to follow the LAMDA syllabus to achieve their maximum potential.
